The Rolling Gallery Project

I spent a few days working with Heidi Reynolds on her project The Rolling Gallery, a growing spherical sculpture built of memories, ideals, attachments, experiments and fears, bound in objects and freed by their hosts.

For two days at the Sherman Cafe, at 257 Washington Street in Somerville MA., the ball was on display along with a bin to deposit objects to be placed within the ball as well as a questionnaire on the meaning behind the object. This was a perfect opportunity to discuss with the community the project and held special significance since it was the start of a New Year when many take the time to reflect and to start anew.
